Guide for boot companies/fitting?

Ok so i know how different boot companies make ski boots that tend to fit different shaped foots (apparently salomons tend to be for wider footed people, ect).
is there a list somewhere that lists all the companies and what foot shape they usually make boots for?
i searched but couldn't really find anything that had all the boot companies.
hope that wasn't too confusing

yea, ive read that.
i'm sort of looking for something more like:

salomon- wide feet, wide toe area
rossingnol- skinny feet
lange- ect ect....
 
its difficult because each company will have boots within their range to fit a wide variety of foot shapes. for instance salomon make the Elios rental boot which is massively wide (106mm across the metheads) but they also make the falcon and gun which are much narrower (98mm).

THis is the same for almost every ski boot manufacturer. Dalbello even make wide boots (proton series). Bottom line, dont discount any mfr and see a decent fitter.
 
Most company are now making various witdth boots.

EX: The dalbello proton serie and reflex series do not have the same width as the rampage serie.

It's the same with Head, Lange, Salomon, Rossignol.

Other company like full tilt have only one serie of boot wich is a replica of the raichle flexon.

Someone could go and make a list of all the series of boots made by boot companies but that wouldnt help much since there is no way to tell if a boot will fit without actually putting it on for a while.

The best way to find a good boot for you would be to go see a good bootfitter try some boots on and figure out with him what are the models that could be good for your feet and your need as a skier. A good bootfitter will give you good advice even if he dosnt have the boot you need.

making a list of all models with width and instep height could be way long and I thing the wideness of a boot cannot be as simple as width in mm. it all depends on wich part of the boot is wide and which aprt of your foot is wide. I felt better with my semi-wide foot in some boots that are supposedto be narrow then in some uberly wide boots that were too tigth in some spots.
 
Companies make many boots with many fits. You cant possibly generalize a style of fit to one company.
