GTA V

I finally got on and was able to play online. But nobody from our crew was on and my "game?" was empty. So it wasn't that great, but with more people running around and once everyone can connect easily it will be awesome.
 
The online is absolute bull fucking shit, I had two characters created and everything and past that god forsaken first mission. And then the cloud servers went down, so I've been waiting like 20 min. They start back up and bam both characters got deleted. Jesus I feel bad for people who actually made it pretty far into the online game and then something like that happens to them. Rock star can suck my shlong
 
Am I the only one who hasn't had a problem with online yet? Maybe cause I got it as soon as it dropped like 2:30 am and started there? While nobody was on.
 
I could see this, I got killed at least 5 times by the same car full of people that would just roll up and shoot everything in their site. Its way annoying when you die in the middle of nowhere and your vehicle disappears...

is there a way to transfer cars between characters? I found the bugatti with michael and murdered it out with all the bells and whistles but it'd be way easier to not smash up and die with franklin
 
Only way I can think of would be to switch to Franklin and drive to Michael's house, then switch to Michael, drive the car into the street, get out, run away for a bit, switch back to Franklin, and "steal" the car from Michael to save in Franklin's garage.
 
anyone else got the problem on single player where michael cannot be played as and there are no missions for Franklin or Trevor? I've tried doing a few side missions and shit but nothing is working and there are still no missions to do, im only like 40% through. It's fucking annoying but yeah anyone else had this problem/know how to fix it?
 
That's what i thought, have been doing that for 2 days which for me is about 5 hours of gameplay, doesn't seem right that it would take 5 hours of real-life time for it to resync
 
Damn maybe try posting on the gta v forums? Otherwise your probably just gonna have to wait for a patch.
 
Do you have any save points from previous? I have 2 games saved that I just periodically save from my phone and load if there's an issue.

Also online is great. I was in a game just freeroaming and I realized you can steal random cars and sell them to the body shop for cash. Got like 3k for one car, but then it says they don't need anymore for I don't know how long.

Well as I'm stealing cars some guy tries to steal my car with the tracker, I gun him down before he can get in the car and steal his money. Now for the next 20 mins he is chasing me around trying to get revenge, eventually I drive off an on-ramp onto some train tracks, through the river, and into a hiding spot. He couldn't keep up. Online is fucking awesome.
 
It just randomly drops you into servers when you join or after jobs. You can join friends or crew members servers specifically though.
 
Well atleast this guy still cant get on. it either says the cloud is down (no saving) or could find host. The longest I've played online would be about 5 minutes.
 
Oh man the best part about online in GTA IV was going around fucking with people. I always used to get a bunch of guns, start shit with the room and then go hide out in the city in some building and wait for them to come.
 
I did! I got stuck in the tutorial mission's loading screen though...

I'm going to try creating a new character this afternoon, along with trying to join a crew members server.

Sooo i accidentally declined the free 30 day live trial, do i have to make a new account now? I want to play online with the same account i saved my missions with.. or is there a way to transfer missions?
 
Just tried to get online and it said servers were down at first then when it reconnected me all my shit was gone...?

Don't really want to have to keep going through everything every few days.
 
I think the guys at Rockstar just want to watch millions of young men cry and lose their minds by teasing them with online gameplay. Its working.
 
Its fun with active people in the same lobby. The most frustrating thing in the world is dying within the military base and then spawning in the middle of nowhere with no car or people around.
