GTA V

good thing they're taking it back to LA. liberty city was boring, san andreas had so much more variety in terrain
 
So stoked. I pre ordered and can't wait. And thank god this time they have the whole map unlocked from the beginning. That was so annoying on IV.
 
Looking forward to more accessibility (i.e. convertible cars etc...) the ability to fly planes looks sweet and the Los Angeles based map is something new to look forward too.
 
Yea I think I read that the map is supposed to be bigger than the last two or three GTA's and Red Dead Redemption's maps COMBINED.
 
I thought it was great for the missions. Fun to drive around and commit crime, but after you finished everything it got boring.

The only thing I hope this game avoids is driving times. I'm all for driving around and stuff, but I absolutely hate those missions where you wind up driving for 45 minutes.
 
yeah I'm not saying I didn't enjoy IV, Ballad of Gay Tony is one of my favorite games, but I just missed driving a sanchez around the countryside, Liberty City was just a concret jungle

also I agree about drive times, but thats what the taxis were for
 
aa-12 with explosive rounds and a parachute....amazing times were had.

I don't want V to be as ridiculous as san andreas, but definitely bring out some downloadable stuff that adds that stuff like they did with IV.
 
gta isn't really supposed to be realistic though. that would be sick, but in gameplay it may not be as fun as it sounds. also we're talking about a game series where in the past we've had a black man who survives off of hot dogs and hooker pussy and the capability to break into army bases and steal fighter jets.might be a better idea for a game like call of duty
 
stoked for it since the first trailer. too bad its seems like it has been forever since that first trailer and we still have months to go. I hope there is online.

I hope at least 2 of them are black.

Id rather wait for a fully polished game than get a buggy as shit version a bit earlier

but I'm still disappointed....fuck not being able to play it during the summer
 
maybe they're optimizing it for ps4? there's a playstation event on feb 20th, the invite says "come see the future of playstation". hopefully they release it around summer
 
I just hope to god when they release the ps4 sometime soon, those games are compatible with ps3 and/or make it also for the ps3
 
My buddy got it at the midnight release. Game looks so good it's insane. The gameplay is so smooth everything just works together. Anyone know how to flip people off yet? We were trying to figure it out.
 
Picking mine up today but of course am overwhelmed by homework/tests this week/next. Guess I'm gonna have to take the F ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
 
i guess i live in the future compared to you yanks, cause i've already played the game 5+ hours while you guys just picked it up during lunch. i don't know wether do be proud or cry myself to sleep.
 
This is amazing. I split the cost with my roomate but I feel like we are gonna be fighting eachother to play. Also hit my first deer with a car. Shit was cray.
 
wasn't that stoked until i went to this video game shop and saw some kids play it on ps3. Dem graphics are like shiiiiiiiiiit. I want it so bad now.
 
Just picked this up but my Xbox is still at my friend's house. Now I have to drive over there after the gym and hope it still works after 6 months haha.
