Grouse stepping it up

Well, everyone knows the story about Grouse's jumps and poor park maintenance, so I need not go into detail.

Also, many people probably know about Build Your Own Park (BYOP)

But I didn't see a thread about it on here, so for everyone not on facebook, unless told by people on there, probably wouldn't find out about it.

So here it is: Grouse's new park manager or cat driver or whatever his title is has a facebook group for input into their park, to improve from the crappiness of last year's season. They also have a site. www.byop.ca

I thought everyone who rides grouse might want to take the surveys, or provide some input into their parks.

Also, you might as well discuss the whole thing here without posts and oppinions getting deleted. Who knows.

Anyways, thought some people might want to know about it.

I think this thing's gonna work!

I may have also heard them talking about a ski contest with a considerable level of legitimacy

Yeah. They're doing that Build Your Own Park, along with introducing new jibs, and a freeskiing event (how good it will be however, is yet to be known). They're also getting a new groomer, for those concerned. Just reading on the website, it says there will be some 'Open Park Building Sessions'.

I think Grouse have come up with a great new way to revolutionize (maybe) their park, with the input of the people who actually use it. Let's hope it works.

What do you mean? The park manager, Dave Cashen, is all over the facebook group, they have the whole thing on the Grouse web page, have pictures of the new rails and boxes, have promised to make decent shaped jumps, so how aren't those all improvements?
