Grom ski for my little sister

Alright all you little groms, and those who have a vast knowledge of the youth skis out there, I ask for your help.

Now, I've done a little research, but I need more help. My family (and I) are looking for some skis for my little sister. She is 11, about 100 lbs, and probably 4'9"??? (I never see her seeing as I don't live at home anymore).

She is currently in the Nancy Greene racing program, and has set skis for that. She needs something bigger with more girth though. My family lives on Golden, BC. So naturally, the ski hill is Kicking Horse. So I would say, 80/20 all mountain/big mountain. Her current model is a pair of 145 Line Celebrity. Which are become lifeless and short.

We've come to the conclusion that she needs a ski at about 155cm (+/- 5cm). With a waist varying from 95-110mm.

What my parents have looked it:

Salomon Giesha at 153 cm.

and a pair of Moment skis that her friend has (but wants to get czars instead, so he will sell them), but wants to sell. I don't know the exact model, and my research has come out with nothing.

For the options I have looked at,

Surface Next Life at 160

Line Celebrity 100 at 158

Moment Pika at 150

K2 MissBehaved at 149 or 159

Line EP Shorty at 155

Sorry for right a lot whole, I tend to add detail.

Your input would be great help. Hopefully I didn't forget anything

CHEERS!

Gotama joniors. Cheap and awesome. I just picked up a pair for my sister who sounds just like your sister in 158 and she loves them.

I'll keep bumpin this.

EP Shorty's might just be it.

The briefest I can put my original post is, my little sister needs a new fat ski under 160cm. That's what I'm looking for.

Coda's are way to skinny man.

At least 95mm in the waist.

I think I might know what to look into

Honestly, she's pretty short still but if she's actually reached 100lbs it might be time to move her away from grom skis. Girls generally reach their growth spurt around 12 so I wouldn't be surprised if she grows a lot in the next couple years. Especially with the racing she would probably be happier on a ski with a bit more power than the kid skis generally offer.I'd take a look at the Moment Sierra, Surface My Life and Line Celebrity 100s. The EP Pro Shorties would still be a good idea because they still have the same construction as the full model.

Exactly. I still want to try and find out what these Moment skis are that her friends have, those might be the best bet.

As much as the Shorties would be a great ski, might not have the power she is used to from racing.

I'll keep looking.

Right now it's the mystery Moments, Next Lifes and Celebrity 100's
