Griffons vs Freeski120 on disorderly

not sure what binding to mount on a pair of 179 disorderly. im 5'10", and more importantly 170lbs. just starting out in the park, but a very strong agressive skiier all over the rest of the mountain, feel free to give any advice on any other binding.

I'm about his size (5' 8" about 160 - so I'm a little smaller) and I ride with my DIN at 8, Griffons go up to 12 so I don't think there's really any need to get the 18 DIN Jesters (except the added durability or course, but Griffons are still pretty solid so it's not worth spending the extra $100). I'd get the Griffons, it's a very fun, light weight binding that adds very little swing weight to your ski (unlike other bindings).

jesters go to 16 and if you plan on getting anywhere near 10 with your din you will want a jester. if you ride 10 or higher dont get a 12 din. the griffons are fine below 10 for sure. spend the extra hundo you'll have them for a long time.

this forsure. i agree with what flashkick101 has to say but the jesters would be a better binding for you. if you dont want to spend the extra money thats fine griffons are still a real solid binding. I love mine!!!

thanks guys, i think imma go with the griffions, ive seen a couple pictures of the heelpiece ( the part that is metal in the jesters) snapping, is that very likely? is it coverd by warrenty?

Depends on how it snaps, I've seen them cover most things but it all depends on how you get them warranteed.
I saw the aftermath of them breaking at Battle for Burlington last year and if memory serves they were warranteed, that was a pretty nasty fall tho.
If you are really concerned about stuff braking then go jester and if you can't afford it go Freeski120

false, i have the disorderlys and they are awesome on the EC. i pretty much use them for all mountain. I have read nothing but good things about the disorderly and the only thing that is *bad* is that the topsheet chips easily but thats only for looks and pretty much all k2 skis have it. So, imo keep the skis, you'll love them.

Tyrolia Peak 15s, or 18s. And Disorderlys are sure better than any Line symmetrical ski, but I still don't think any symmetrical ski compares to a ski that was actually made to carve(Pipe Cleaners, Extremes, TNKs, AR6s..). I still want to try Reno Jibs though, maby they will prove what I've found so far wrong.
