Griffon forward pressure help

just got new skis and mounted my griffons. but they got crazy prerelease issues(dins at 9). just wondering if anyone can give me a step by step list of kinda a troubleshoot process to tell if the forward pressure is correct?

you dont know my shop.... closest scheels is an hour away(sketchy from past experience) closest LEGIT ski shop is 3.5 hours away.

sounds like the heel piece is too close or far away from your boot. Don't crank your dins up, keep them wherever they were set. There is a screw behind the heelpiece that moves it forward and backward. The heel of the boot should cover the whole tab (the piece you actually stomp on to click in). Anywhere between there and another turn forward is ideal spacing.

A relatively low-impact way to check how well they hold (that is, if you don't go to a shop) is to click in, and lean forward like a big nose butter. if you release, you probably need to adjust the spacing or din, but think of spacing first.

Hopefully that helps

Click your boot into the bindings. Check out the worm screw on the back of the heel piece. If it's flush with the plastic around it, congrats, your forward pressure is correct.

If the screw is sticking out a bit, screw it in accordingly until it is flush.

If the screw is countersunk into the heel piece plastic, back the screw out until it's flush. Really easy to adjust forward pressure on markers.

This. Just to add, make sure you take the boot out of the bindings before you adjust. Then put them back in to check, repeat if necessary.

oh one more thing before i mess around with them. flush with the plastic hole area or flush with the plastic that is a bit raised above it?
