Grey Marks

I own 2009 k2 silencers with a white base but after doing a rail in my friends back yard I have theses gray streaks that run length wise on my ski... Any idea on how to remove them?

you're the one wondering if you can get stupid marks off your skisi've never heard someone from another sport say anything like thisin my opinion you deserve to get teased a bit

Grey Marks...

Normal Base...

those rails are not cleanthere's whatever is used to make the rail slide, the actual rail, and then the wax and base material from skis that have hit it beforealso any dirt that has settled into and cracks or dings in the railand there's naturally dirt in snow but it's just a miniscule amount
think before you try to make a point

Basically your best bet is to get over it.

If you're still concerned, consider just getting over it.

If it still bothers you, try some simple green.

If you're still really concerned, hot wax then scrape it off right away.

haha i kinda giggled a little when i saw this but if i where you i would just be a man and except the fact that there are little grey streaks on your skis and use them as honor marks haha

why do you even care?

seriously, the bottom of your ski rides on the snow. you cant even see it.

my bases have huge black streaks, im pretty sure it was from this greasy tire jib. but i live with it.

the best way to get rid of this is to just not give a fuck, and keep skiing. eventually, after enough shredding, the shit in your base will slowly seep out of the pores, leaving it mostly clean.

if you must have it out now, try to find some base cleaner, ask your ski shop for it, it is extremely bad for your base (it cleans out all the good shit, like wax, out too, and leaves your base dry as fuck ), but i guess thats what it takes to keep your skis looking good right?

or, you could wax your skis, the wax going into the pores of your base naturally pushes out the dirt and shit and cleans it a little.

but seriously i suggest chilling the fuck out.
