Green street bar, done

Went to go have a lovely night at green st tonight, discovered that TODAY they finally shut down. Hopefully someone comes in and takes over.
 
Didn't pay rent. Silver lining to this is maybe someone dope will take it over and make a better bar...
 
According to an article I read yesterday, they owe Trolley Square's management $120,000 so I think they're done for good.
 
when the newest round of construction started it really diminished traffic to green st. and they ended up way behind on rent so they are done.

if they couldn't cut it there, would another bar take a shot? it's kind of a lame location now, tucked into a mall. might as well be an applebees.
 
its one of the closest bars to the U though. if it was managed well im sure a new bar could make some money.
 
it could be a sick bar, its traxable and close as fuck to alot of students. They just need to have cheap beer specials and then have drinks normal priced, have a dope dj (like dj knuckles or something) maybe have some shows there and they could be back in business, that place is HUGE its so sick cause if there are mad people there, even douche bags, you can get away to your own spot.
 
green street was a frat bar for douche bags, its fucking hilarious that all you kids even walked into that spot. Unless they changed it in the past few years.
 
Like i said, its a huge place, if you go with 5-10 friends, you can make your own scene. Past couple times i went there were like 20-30 people i knew there, none being frat boy douche bags, because if anyone hates frats, its me.
 
good greenstreet fucking sucked.

I went there with a bit longer than the normal greenstreet crowd shirt on and the bouncer accused me of having gang affiliations(roughly 5'8'' white and non-threatening) and I wasnt allowed in even though I was with my girlfriend and 5 others. I convinced the bouncer to let me in if I tucked it in... it looked retarded.
