Greatest song of all time?

in my opinion the greatest song of all time is either Stairway to Heavan by Led Zeppelin, or Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. I'm interested to hear other people's opinion, the song can be in any genre of music.

Personally i would consider Piano Man by Billy Joel one of the best, along with Bohemian Rhapsody, and wicked games by the weeknd.

It's the obvious choice and overplayed but still It gets my vote.

What horrible taste in music you all have. Is this some type of inside joke or did your dad let you borrow his iPod for the week and somehow you all came to the consensus that Bohemian Rhapsody is the best song of all time? I'm genuinely curious as to why you all think that song is the best song of all time.

Whoops, I meant to quote you saying you were right on. A better question would be what your all-time favorite song is.

oh look, you seem to have an opinion about music.

Also props on quoting the person who said nothing about Bohemian Rhapsody

If you don't agree, write down exactly how you feel right now- that's how it feels to be wrong.

I would say this whole album as a whole, because really, is meant to be listened to from start to finish.

This. It depends on what mood you're in, and what genre you're talking about. It is really impossible to say that there is a "best song" across all genres and time periods of music.

Kinda related, but what happened to those kids that a nser has us watch live on youtube? That was actually pretty fun messing with them

Shootouts by Jadakiss & Styles P. In my opinion, Shootouts is a perfect rap song, incredible instrumental, with the duet style of rapping revolutionized by two of the greatest artists I can name...

But for real this is such a dumb question, because there is no comparing a song from one genre to a song of a completely other genre. Not to mention that there are way too many answers because for the most part, people will not be able to agree on one single song from one single genre as being the best song ever. I think we should leave this question alone and enjoy our best song ever instead, the same way I enjoy Shootouts.

I don't really have an answer because i like so many songs, i could never truly choose a favorite. but as of now, I would have to say to me the best is The End by The Doors

You can't call a single song the best, but this one is what came to mind: (immortal technique-dance with the devil

I'm pretty down with this.

My vote will have to go to Hocus Pocus by Focus.
