today was the opening day. school happened to get canceled. turns out the snow storm they thought was coming in for school didn't come, so it was pointless. get up to the hill, dumps snow all day! deep pow day for first day!!!! face shots all fucking day. Just sending out good vibes for first ski days, the northwest, and POWDER!!!! wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
 
thats awesome luck. my local hill has been open for a while but they are not opening friday and saturday for sure because of extreme cold temps, and i want to ski!
 
haha you have had to experience bluewood also im guessing? its good tree runs, and good pow. not much besides that. My winter break started 3 days early cuz of snow. But bluewood closed today cuz of avalanches and really shitty roads.

we have no base, but we've got over a metre of pow out there... just no big drops till it warms up and the snow starts to get heavier (only to get more of the light and fluffy on top of course).
 
wed, today, and tomor. i work at the resort, but its been snowing everyday and supposed to fri night, and i have sat off !! after all ice and patches on tues. this is a huge plus.
 
ya same here! all fluffy deep stuff right now. More storms coming though. Been snowing all day here.

and tomorrow is FRIDAY...THE biggest vibe day of the week. and of course i'll be skiing pow all day long!!
