I'll be skiing here next year since ill be going to school at carroll...has anyone skied/known anyone who's skied there before? and if so, how is it?

Its not anything like bridger or big sky, occasionally you will get decent snow, expect a midwest vibe terrain park place, and a super long ski season.

i'm also at Carroll, GD isn't a great mountain, me and few other guys usually hit up discovery/showdown most weekends.

Park scene at GD is much better than Disco though

Park scene is definitely cool at GD. Jumps can be awesome, Night skiing is a HUGE plus about GD. Showdown has some of the best powder in the state that stays untouched for days
