What are your guys' favorite markers to sketch with? I'm looking to restock. I've got a couple prismas but they tend to be streaky when I use them. Is that supposed to happen?

I have always wondered how artists like swoon and gaia have repeated prints that are like 10 feet tall, but at 4:51 you can see that its basically done as a large scale linoleum block print which I found to be very interesting. I wonder what she is using to carve out of because its fucking huge

 
Yo guys, what's your opinion on changing my graff name to "Shame" instead of "Shake"? I think it sounds way better.

it just takes a while to get used too prisma's, there my personal favorite.

just go all vertical, and then go back over in horizontal.

yea i know its incredible, the images aren't merely ON, they are just flowing through their being. like entangled in their hair and festering in their clothing.

I don't get streaky prismas, the only problem they really have is that they like to bleed, other than that I never get streaks going in any direction at all.
 
I hate how Banksy is the best after MBW's documentary. There are so many street artists today that have much better work. Banksy is still a great artist thought.
 
mbw does not exist. he is an actor. The documentary was made by banksy to criticize the contemporary street art scene.
 
grog and oink are legit as hell. i also got one of those mini things of OTR Super permenant that like only fills the mini mops, but SHIT does it stain

got mad up this week, some shit coming at ya later tonight.
Also as a tip to anyone: DONT BUY/RACK 2 DOLLAR CANS, ESPECIALLY WHITE. TROWING 2% MILK AT A WALL IS PROBABLY MORE EFFICIENT. The black was alright though...
 
Also, DON'T USE FLUORESCENT RUSTO AS A FILL. It's a decent outline, but it also doesn't go well with other caps. Only like a NY Fat. But it just is not opaque what so ever.

P.s. I didn't buy it, got it for free from a friend.
 
nice! I was on my way home from drivers ed class and I noticed I had like 15 bucks in my account so I went to the canadian tire by my house and bought as much fill paint I could buy haha, ended up with 4 cans o white and one really nice rusto chrome that I used for highlights. Going to be honest, I didn't rack any of them. As much I love a fresh can of paint there is something that makes me very uncomfortable with stealing from retail stores, i just cant get over it.
 
So I changed my name to "Shame", I think it sounds way better. I filled my other blackbook with "Shake", so I started a new blackbook. I'll go from favorite to least favorite. Some constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.

Start doing more simples to get your letter structure down. Take it from keyboard keys and then try adding your spice. That's the one thing most writers will tell you to do. Go simple for now. Your handies have gotten better though.
 
Dude this is SOO clean!!! Not much of a variation of style though from the first pic, nonetheless it is SIIICK!!!
 
There's nothing wrong with buying paint. I just prefer not to when I have the chance to just dip out with it and spend my money on another thing.

That's pretty dope. Make it a little more colorful, and maybe add an outline in like yellow or red. It would also be pretty dope in black with a silver, gold, or white outline.
 
although if the c is going to be overlapping the E that much the A should be doing the C that much imo. It looks like the AC is ganging up on E
