What's everyones opinions on grabs? I've heard loads of people dissing safetys, toxics/tails or the still tanner stylee trick. I prefer uncrossed grabs but varied- not just safety's and I reckon you should always try to grab a trick. What does everyone else think?

 
i personally like to mix my grabs up doing crosed and uncrossed just depends on the day and what im feelin i still think that you should grab any trick

 
I personally like toxic grabs, especially when you spin the way you're grabbing. That kicks ass.

yea, i love liu kang shit, that stuff if off the hizzee. and sweet straight air mutes are nice, but are overused on spins

parallel's are tight, and so are squatted out saftey's when spinning cork.

Well i think safety's are the shit bec when ur doing an off axis spin u can be all compact and it makes it look real stylie. But i woul dhave to say any grab nice and tweak will complement any jump or trick. I think thats why its so cool bec there are like unlimited amounts of possibilities for grabs and spins.

 
i think that japans in hte pipe are the shit. but yeah i mix my stuff up. Cork 5 safetys are killer. i like throwing less known grabs to like seatbelt and inside-out grabs. also this grab, i dont know what it is but u grab the inside of ure right ski with ure right hand and pull so ure tails cross a bit. it sounds gay but it looks awesome wiht cork

most all tricks should be grabbed for added style, plus it keeps your arms in one place, the only time I think it looks good to not grab is a layed out back or a superman front. or in stereotype I think it's chrichton that does the pimpest cork 9 or something in the pipe, one arm up, the other arm out, and his knees bent back so his rear tips are touchin his back, it's prime, so smooth.

there is so much variety you can do. different grabs with different tricks..

I think grabs and the way people do 'em really separate people. style..

There is so much you can do that you just don't see that much..

I like these variations:

Throw a trick with one grab and halfway through the trick turn it into another grab

tweaked out safety way off to the side with straight air/180/360. just keep it real slow.

double hand grabs. extremely hard to make it look smooth (having both arms grabbing can set you off axis so easy). with a double hand grab you can tweak your body out so much.

toxic/blunt/liu kang all look good depending on the trick.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

 
i used to like grabs on every trick. then i saw that 0 body movement cork 3 in 1242, so im gonna try and incorprate that into shit this season

its all preferance, i used to really like oldschool tails but now my tastes have changed and i really like anything new and different
