Grabs throwing me off?

So lately while using a trampline to practice my jump tricks, I have noticed that I can stick the landings of frontflips, lincoln loops, rodeos, backflips, 360 frontflips, 180 frontflips, and 180 lincoln loops, but whenever I try to do a complicated grab/tweak my body, I get completely thown off and just cant seem to land them. Any tips on throwing in clean grabs while going off-axis?

Changes in the way your body is positioned in the air can lead to changes in the trick itself, it could possibly be that you go for the grab before your set your trick or you think too much about the grab which will through you off. But get creative, try to land whatever you're throwing and let it be your stamp.

I think that im thinking about the grab/tweak too much when I try to do them, ill try to get it to be second nature so I don't have to devote so much attention to the grab vs. landing the actual trick. Thanks for the advice!

If I were you, I would look at the grabs that pros do in certain trick and try those. You're right in discovering that grabs and tweaks change your rotation. They know that too. Check out some S.K.A.T.E. videos for the results of pros trying tricks or grabs that they don't normally try.
