Grabbing while spinning

I'm having trouble grabbing when I do 360s. If I am spinning left, which hand do I use to grab in order to make the spin easier. Also, if i'm trying to do a mute wiht a 360, which ski goes on top and which hand do i grab with?

btw, i would use search bar if it worked. thanks

i think that it would be easier to grab leading hand on both occasions, left hand safety, and cross right ski over left and grab with the right

you will probably get a lot of ass hole answers on this post so here is what you actually need to read to answer your question (from my perspective of course):

for spinning left you grab your left ski with your right hand. Your left ski is on top of your right ski. Mute=done.

...if you grab with your left hand while spinning left (leading hand) that is a leading mute. For this you would grab your right ski (right ski on top of your left) though. Harder and can cause you to drop your leading (left) shoulder, potentially making you go off axis or corked. Save that for later.

i didn't know there was an official way to do it. i just sort of think "grab" as i hit a booter and it all comes into place. thinking about stuff gets me hurt.

umm thanks for the help jonesy, i was thinking more along the lines of a slight flat spin, or like a table top in rollerblading. spinning feet and head around each other as oposed to turning sideways and then spining regular? does anyone know what i am talking about?

slight flatspin? ok then good luck with that. If you want to do a flat spin I'll try to explain it. drop you left shoulder as you set the spin and think about having your tips leading the spin. It's a wierd set to explain but once you can do it it's insanly easy

Ya lots of answers. Thanks. Basically i think you guys have suggested every combination of left/right hand left/right ski. My thinking was that if my upperbody is twisted left, would grabing wiht my left make me twist even more? or would grabbing with my right be easier cuz my right hand is already in front of my body.

Spin left then grab left. When you're coming down your legs will be a bit behind you body so you you'll wanna swivel your legs down and to the left.

right. If you drop your left shoulder spinning left, it is corked. if you drop the opposite shoulder as the direction you spin, it is flat.

I have always found, spining right, grab right, spining left, grab left (safty that is) that makes it way easyer.

a faltspin is a sideays backflip...you go to 90 degrees liek youre going to set a cork 7, and then you look back with your head to do a backflip

i find grabbing safety or tail with my right hand when spinning left. i cant do grabs with my left hand spinning left yet, it just doesnt feel right

i think nose is the best grab in 360, its kinda natural to put your body in that position. or something. rev mute is really hard to do in a 3.

everyone knows that lift spins look sick with left hand grabs and right spins with right hand grabs.

im jus learnin em as well, n i find it lot easier to spin left n grab wi me right, jus obviously bring your skis up rather than lean down, cos it sends u off axis

the real question is if your grabing critical or tail, trailing or leading hand to grap with. Leading hand seems to be my Indominate hand and thus harder coordinationa and sometimes a slight off axis surprise, trailing hand is more natural but then your grabing against the spin which could slow you down and what not... think about that.
