Grabbing on switch 5's

so i recently got switch 5's and a decent sized jump but i am having a hard time grabbing them, im looking over my left shoulder, spinning left, and i mostly use my right arm to throw it but that is the arm that i usually grab with so everytime i reach for a grab i stop spining, any tips or will i just get used to it after a while like spinning straigh

and plz dont say trick tip forum cause no one ever posts in there, thanks

once you throw your spin grab the front of your left boot with your right hand that way you can still through your spin and stay stable grabbing

you usually have to wait till you pass 180 until you grab. wait for you body to catch up with you. that what works for me

my one question....can you grab your normal 3's consistently? when spinning switch, think about it as 2 things, a switch 1, then normal 3 (or 5 or 7) pop into it with both arms...the 180 comes around super fast, do everything you can to not spot the, keep looking over your shoulder and spot it just like you were doing a regular 3...if you keep that in mind it should make grabbing easier. pop the 180, then as youre bringing it around like a forward 3, get the grab in.

exactly what i was thinking.... yea as long as you just dont go for the grab instantly before you get ur first 180 around you should be fine as long as you keep spotting it as a normal 3

aight, thanks everyone, when i think about it it seems so easy but i just mess up everytime, but like i said im still gettin comfy with them so i should get it down soon

Depends on the grab you could do a leading tail with your left hand which will actually spin you a bit faster, and those are semi easy you just look and grab. Right hand grabs try safeties and shit, I do alot of high and nose mutes with my sw I remember having a hard time learning it because I find you gotta throw your weight a bit different when you through it.
