Hey, Ive skiied hood but I have yet to go to govy, Im from new york, and Im just wondering is it a good ski town? Im looking at places to move to, Im moving out in a couple years, and I love hood
 
yep. i cant imagine living in govy. you would get to eat at the huckleberry inn every day which would be pretty sweet until the owner went on one of his temper tantrums
 
if you want to live close to hood I would think your best bet would end up being hood river. it's only about a 40min drive weather depending to meadows. the nice thing about there would be the fact that it's actually a town with way more to do.
 
exactly what I would say. And even if you wanted portland could be an option. But its not much of a ski town at all haha. But the drive to hood is only like and hour to skibowl, hour and 15mins to tline, and like hour and 30- 45 mins to meadows.
 
i love the guv. but i guess you gotta just be into doing nothing but skiing 24/7 and in the summer ski in the morn and play in the afternoon. its a pretty chill community up here to.. especially if you get a job at tline
