Gotta love April

Got 15 over here at Keystone today and skied on to the lift every time. First time in my life that’s happened.

The mornings are great but the afternoons are just slushy and slow.

Same here lift lines werent long for a saturday but the snow was kind of whacky. I skied until about 11:30 and headed home. I got food poisoning earlier this week so I haven't been eating much and i nearly fainted when i got to the car lol. worth it!

Sort of funny story: When I was leaving this family had just pulled up and they were having a typical nightmare struggle trying to get their kids together and go skiing (kids were crying and generally being dicks about putting their ski gear on)

i had to move their skis/boards out of the way so i could pull out and the mom explained to me that they had also forgotten one of the kids boots or something and had to turn around when they were half way up. the dad was so frustrated he could barely speak.

its been raining since about 2pm. imagine how pissed he is right now :p

My resort closed on Easter. Closed with a 2.5 ft base across the hill. Our park lanes (which have been closed since March 11th) had a 5 ft base.

So idk what spring skiing is.

Man am I glad that those days are over. It’s supposed to keep snowing tonight so I might have to take some early turns and get out of here quick.

Breck was soooo heavy this morning. Pretty much had to ski backseat or my tips would catch and I'd go over the bars lol
 
Yeah that happened and then the rain hit so hard that avy danger prevented the lifts from opening. Thou giveth and then thou taketh away
 
Northern california is all closed

It rained super hard all day yesterday leaving only a few resorts around tahoe open.
 
hills here are on super reduced hours and park is barely open even though there's a ton of base left. It sucks.
 
9 inches on top of the 15 yesterday at Keystone today. Nothing better than jumping off untracked moguls.

Forreal. I would have went up for a spring day if they were open....
 
Hell yeah I was in the woods in SoVT yesterday and there is still so much coverage I actually can't believe it
 
Best snow all year, and its still snowing, and more coming in the next couple weeks, yet keystone closed yesterday. Rip
