got the 7d as an early bday gift with the 18-135mm lens (it was the kit)

today i purchased the 52mm Kenko 0.25x Fisheye lens (kdv-0252) for $80 and have it mounted on the end of my 135mm lens.

i am having some trouble with trying to customize my own pictures on the camera for a custom setting, and was wondering if anyone had some helpful advice or a site/online tutorial that can be more beneficial than the 7d's manual i have been reading so far.

i am familiar with camera usage, but this is my first DSLR and i know the configurations are endless but just want to be able to adjust white balance, color, saturation, reds, blues, greens, etc...when i take a picture so i dont have to do tooo much on my comp when i upload them.

thanks!

First mistake, you bought the kit lens. Second mistake you bought a screw on fisheye. Third mistake, you bought a DSLR without any knowledge. With that said if your looking to manually control your settings turn the dial to the M setting. Then the scroll wheel next to the shutter button will be your shutter speed and the large dial on the back will be your aperture. Then there should be a button for the ISO which you can press and use the small scroll wheel to change it. I'd suggest reading or watching some videos online about the basics of DSLR's and how shutter, aperture, and ISO all are related.

If you have the bank and you are looking for a real fisheye, the Nikon 10.5 is amazing. Super wide and definetely worth the money. I also think it is f/2.8, which is a great prime

What are you talking about Evan, you know that lens adapter blows all of Canons and Zeiss lens out of the water, haha.

well good luck "customizing" those photos with the zero knowledge you have about DSLRs.... Not trying to sound like a dick but you really should have thought that purchase through. Just search "Basic DSLR tutorials" on youtube or google and slave away for couple of hours.

why did you get a 7d with very little dslr knowledge? read up on how to change aperature, shutter speed, and iso and how those will affect the outcome of your photo.

First of all i'd like to LMAO at your thread title, as if you think everyone is going to be stoked for you cause you purchased one of the hottest cameras of the year. Secondly, i'd like to LMAO at the your desire for easy settings to get saturation and RBG on camera rather than in post. You purchased a professional quality camera. Most professionals do color grading, adjustments to rgb and saturation in post. If you're too lazy to sit down and work in post, then you should'nt have purchased a 7D. Many photographers and cinematographers shoot with neutral settings specifically to get the nice colors and saturation out of post-production workflow. If you're looking for the easy way out than you should've purchased this camera instead:
