Got brand new skis today (Armada Bdog 2022), the steel egde got fucked. Can this be fixed?

It seems as if you bought this years? I would definitely warranty then ASAP. Armada/Amer will def send you new ones if that’s how you received the ski

No, I didn't receive the skis like this. I was so unlucky to bonk into a rail accidentally with my nose. Skis should withstand that. My question is, is it possible to fix it? And will it be good as new?

Put some good epoxy in there and clamp the shit out of it, it should fix it. How was it damaged?

I bonked into a rail by accident. I was trying to nollie lip a rainbow box, and my nose locked in under.

Yeah they most likely will not warranty that because it’s impact damage. Your best bet is epoxy and clamping it as tight as possible. Had that happen to a pair of my skis and I was able to fix it that way.

This is your answer since you did it, OP

yeah pretty much certain they won't cover it since it's impact damage, and yeah epoxy and vice that thing asap, do it now and do it well before it can get worse. but if you do the job well right now you'll be fine, no big issue

happened to me, Take it to a shop, they're going to split the edge, remove base material and bend it back down. Then base weld over and they'll rip just fine for the rest of the season as long as you don't nail em again

But will it affect the lifespan of my ski? Even fixed?

if it's fixed well, now, before it can get any worse, it shouldn't be an issue at all unless you smoke that same part of the ski again

better off cutting the bent part out with a dremel before you epoxy it imo. less likely to come apart again. west systems gflex marine epoxy and like 4 clamps all around the spots where you cut

For certain bend it back before epoxy. Like rojo.grande says a shop will probably dismanle them to make sure the bending happens. Because it's on the tip it doesn't have to be perfect it should last about as long as it would have.

Which isn't that long if you're skiing park. Destroying equipment is part of what this particular activity is about.
