Got a Sachtler fluid head for $20 at a yard sale

So I scored this head for $20 having the feeling that it must be worth much more.

It says "sachtler - munchen" and has "P139" engraved on the side.

It didn't come with a plate and I am 99% sure its a 100mm ball.

It has 7 steps of tilt and 3 steps of drag. It also had a red dial that won't move and does nothing to my knowledge.

I am hoping one of you guys could give me some more info on this since I am not having the best luck googling around.

Whatever the case, that head is worth much more and outperforms its pricetag. There aren't too many legs with a 100mm ballhead though (right?)
 
100mm is the "industry" standard for more of the industrial heads. Chances are that head is beefier than you'll need, but i'd suggest heading to DVXuser to get more info on it, and maybe a value. I hear Sachtlers last forever so I assume you could get something more than $20 if you decide/find it's too much for you
 
Thanks. I posted in DVXuser the other day and still haven't gotten any replies.Is it worth contacting Sachtler about this to see if they know the model number or can sell me a plate?

 
probably not I mean you'd have to copy and paste and click send, seems like a hassle. not worth it IMO
