GoPro questions

I'm gonna be getting the hero 10 black to get some dope ski and mtb footage and just had a few questions.

1. What's the battery life like in the cold? should I get a second battery?

2. What's the best mounting position?

3. What are the best settings you guys use to get a nice wide frame with minimal distortion?

I can’t totally recommend getting a GoPro, but definitely buy a second battery if you get one. GoPros tend to do pretty poorly in the cold. As far as best mounting position, I’m more of a fan of having it on a stick and following whoever you’re filming up close, but overall a used camcorder works just fine and maybe better if you prep it and use it right.

Definitely get a few extra batteries and a multi-battery charger

Also I really like the GoPro shorty stick for just everyday resort filming because it fits in a pocket so well
