Gopro Problem?

Hey guys, so I have a Gopro 2 right now. I've got 5 videos on the memory card that I don't need anymore. I plug the card into my computer, open it up, open up DCIM and then drag the videos to the trash on my computer. After doing so my computer says "The items could not be moved to the trash because they cannot be deleted."

As far as I can tell, the videos are no different than the other countless clips i've deleted off of my gopro.... so whats going on?

I am not really sure what the problem is but, maybe try this:

Right click on the clip and try to delete

Make sure something else is using that clip ie: movie player

Make sure the switch on the memory card isn't in the locked position?

Not an expert, just trying to help.

are you on a mac or pc?

what you need to do is format your card. essentially it just erases whats on your card and replaces it with the necessary drivers/whatnot. It will delete EVERYTHING off your card so make sure you saved the clips you wanted to keep.

If your on a mac- plug your card in and spotlight "disk utility" and open the program. go to the erase tab and there should be a format card option. it will ask what format to make the card and what you want to name it. I use the first option (mdos-fat) or something like that. once its formatted it should have its full space back.

on mac, sorry guys

tried what you said and this is what i got.... can't click any of that stuff..?

Yeah try this. There's a way to delete everything on a card while the card is in the gopro. You can find it in the manual.

thats wierd. check to make sure your card's little lock switch is set to unlocked

is the 31.x card the only card plugged in? if so try selecting that instead of "ben"
