My old one is crap, it shakes so much you cant watch the video. I'm looking for a basic gopro pole that doesnt wobble or break for under $25

I'm looking for something like this but idk if they are reliable or not after my last purchase

Make one out of a hockey stick and an adhesive mount

That shits freeeeeeee

hockey stick. then use the display case mounting plate and screw, duct tape it to the stick

you won't find anything worth buying that's under 25, guran-fucking-teed. Get the pole mount that they sell at your local sporting goods store, screw it on real tight and call it a day. You can find a decent gimbal for around 125 though if you're willing to spend, which I think would be a better idea. You can keep it forever.

Ski pole + GoPro Handlebar/Seatpost/Pole mount ($20)

I second this, I used duct tape on one of the existing flat mounts I had to attach it instead though. Worked very well.

I was getting nervous that the duct tape would loosen after extensive powder riding though so maybe I would recommend some stronger water resistant tape. If water resistant tape is a thing that is, I don't know.

a gimbal is kinda a waste of money on a gopro since it has a very wide lens with alot of room for stabilization

I'd have to disagree, at least with older go pros gimbals make them way smoother, but that's just been my observation.

+2 on the hockey stick. easy to make and works great. i made 2 of them one is like 2 feet the other is pocket sized.

find a stick, mount go pro problem solved it doesnt matter what you use it's gonna have the same outcome, unless you just have money to throw away.

Use some old stick or even a broom and then buy a go pro handlebar mount and use that. The handlebar mount is also nice for mountain biking if you do that.

if you have one of those special gopro poles and it doesnt have a gimbal then youre a total grapefruit. fact. just buy a bar mount and slap it on your ski pole.
