Gopro mounting point on giro ledge?

Hey guys, I’ve had this mount going all season. I get really good video angle but I can’t stand how front heavy it is.

has anyone attached their gopros in the red before? I’d like to get some advice before wasting a mount

yeah I did once

Worked pretty well

It's more about the gopro angle. Doesn't really matter where you put it unless you want to give the illusion you are 6'4 when you are in fact 4'6
 
I have mine mounted at the red. It is awesome and have never considered changing locations. To be more specific, I’ll send a picture to you later of the exact spot so you have good reference; because the “red” area is quite large and could be misinterpreted. I believe mine is on the red, but closer to the angle change at the inferior border.

Will try and send pic today once I have a chance (I’m in lectures til the evening)

I have the same helmet, Its got a mount all the way on top an it looks aight but I think it would be better kinda halfway up to to the front. Didn't mount it myself, just got the helmet and it already had a mount on it.
