GoPro Latch Broken

Latch on my gopro snapped for the second time in about 4 months. I've been sqeezing it together before locking it in place but it still cracked. Anyone else with same prob?
 
they will warranty that. mine broke when i pulled it out of the mount (not impact damage)

They replaced mine in the summer, and they said the same thing about squeezing it shut before latching, which I had been doing anyway.
 
whaaaat? i wish i knew they warranted that. i broke two this summer and went out n bought new housing
 
shitttt that sucks man...yeah i just emailed em. Just sent a pic of the broken part, the model #, my mailing address etc...gopro's the shit
 
GoPro really needs to fix this, it broke again. I wasn't using it, my friend was, but the latch doesn't run across then entire back door, there is a tiny spot on one side and then a slightly bit bigger section on the other side, and I think this is the problem. It causes the latch to bend in the middle and make it crack.
 
What's GoPros e-mail for warranty issues. The mounting bracket on my housing snapped as i was un-screwing it.
 
mine snapped as well a couple of weeks ago, luckily there was a gopro rep at the contest, too bad he charged me 15$, it would've been super cool of him if he'd given it to me for free ...
also, always bring a tie-rap, it can fix alot of things, including broken gopro latches !
