Hero 3+ becomes new silver and gets integrated touch screen on the back. Black will have no display but high fps modes.

Anounce early October.

Available mid October.

Been watching the rumors for a while. Planning on picking up a 4 black in the near future. 4k is cool, but 1080/120p looks awesome.

I know, and I'm stoked, I have always been a major gorpro fanboy, the value is insane! At that price point it becomes a debate between this or a new lens though... haha.

It was already hovering around $300, I think most places will just get rid of the current inventory at this price. Anything else would cannibalize further sales

Also I think the hero 3+'s will still be around the same price (maybe a tad bit less) seeing as their bringing in the 4's at a different price points.

Gopro is really innovative with every new announcement. That vid was really, really insane. And Im stoked about the manual controls- It probably can be used for starlapses now. And the fact that even though Gopro holds the vast majority of the market and could go the Canon route with minimal updates, they continue to innovate, which is really cool!

I won one the last night, obviously they didnt have one to give me but took all my info and said it would be in the mail beginning of October so.... hopefully it actually comes.
