Be sure to check it out in 4k. The new camera is absolutely insane. Makes me consider selling my FS700 and going all GoPro.
 
jesus crust the resolution of that is unreal. even in the corners, the moving trucks are crispier than my father's bacon. pretty cool considering its coming from a credit card-sized camera. i love technology.
 
Yeah the quality is great, but seriously? What about any tele shots? Good luck with any shots with DOF...

is protune on? what white balance and profile settings were? (native, flat)?

My computer hardly even wants to play it and when it does all the bushes look jittery. Who is meant to be able to enjoy 4k? I've got a year old 15" mac pro. I don't know shit about computers but I figured it should be capable.

Done arguing with child eheath. As awesome as 4k is, the majority of people can't even watch it due to computer/internet lag. I'm also watching on a 2014 Macbook Pro and people are saying it's my graphics card? Well if I don't have a good enough graphics card, neither do 99% of the people that are watching the video. 4k is dope, but it's pretty useless for web right now

On a more serious productive note...

The video plays smoothly with my MB air with a 2560x1080 screen and plays fine on my work computer that is a year old iMac.

Which res did you choose? I did 1440 for both.
 
well done. Go pro looking good! I really want to get into drone flying. Seems real fun and lots of room for creativity. How is flying the gopro? Pretty technical? Do you have to have alot of rc experience to be able to fly basic moves?

I just used the screen size it popped up in with the 4k res. we don't have the greatest internet out here in the mountains but I figured once it's loaded it should be smooth either way. It's not like the video was choppy but all the bushes looked like they had interference or something.

For those complaining about slow/choppy payback on your computers, I just watched it in 4k on a chromebook, at school, using their internet.

But yes the new gopro actually looks mad dope.
 
The timelapse in the second video was money. GoPro nailed it at developing the new Hero4, and it really shows.

Says is making bank.... computer can't handle a gopro's 4k video that's been exported to youtube but apparently it can handle whatever editing needs he has to fit the quota of "making bank". Honestly soursteezle, if everyone on here agrees with you like you seem to think then why do almost ALL of your posts in this thread have more then 10 downvotes? for most people that's a sign they should shut the fuck up.
