GoPro Hero 3 white/silver vs. ContourRoam2

Looking to buy a camera for this season. Looking between the GoPro Hero 3 white or silver model or the ContourRoam2. Any suggestions?
 
If it'S only for skiing, Contour is better imo, the mounting position is way better and the view is better.But go pro is better for everything, more mount and everything.
 
Personally for skiing I prefer contours, but unfortunately they went out of business this past summer, so no more customer support, warranties, etc.
 
Yeah might be kind of hard to get a roam for awhile. This company and product is too good to stay dead, unfortunately their financing fell apart, I think they'll be back.
