Gopro hd

whenever i put my gopro hd into 720 and 60 frames. and then i put it onto my computer thru quicktime, the video like cuts.. its weird and i dont know how to fix it. and also what is a good editing program for the gopro hd? and dont say windows movie maker cause its rookie status

media and arts will help juts becuase of all the computer and cam guys that look in there a lot

but the cutting is usually from ur computer and Final cut express is good as well at sony vegas

exactly - a normal frame rate is 30fps (actually it's 24, but 30 is also expectable), so your computer is try to play all 60 frames in the same amount of time as it would try and play 30 frames - so it looses some of them, which is the skipping. So what you need to do is convert the file to half speed (so now it's playing in a 30 fps mode) and then when you save the file you need to make sure the frame rate is 30fps (all programs kinda do this differently, but usually it's under some sort of advanced settings). Then when you play it, the computer will realize it's a 30fps file and wont skip.

First, open it in quicktime and export it as an H.264 Mov file (file export>settings>then change the codec. Then, you need some sort of editing software (Adobe Premier or Sony Vegas if you have a PC, if you have a Mac Final Cut [Pro or Express - it doesn't matter] or the new iMovie [09 or later]) and just change the speed to 50%. Then export the file and under the setting select 30fps under frame rate.
