GoPro Fogging

Right - I posted this in the GP Cult but got no responses... so it's going here too...
not sure if this has been dealt with here before - but last winter i found my waterproof casing fogged a lot, especially in the super cold.... or damper days at breck etc...
This may be due to me having had the camera in my pocket (warmer) then bring it out to mount on my helmet, but it would also fog when on my helmet mount.
My plan is to just not use the water proof housing when skiing, to allow it to breath etc.... and to have some airflow inside the case.
Anyone else had fogging probs? Tips to stop it happening?

I had the same problem some times...

It's because humid air in your case, you should close the case at the mountain, where the air is cold and less humid... or what ive done is that I put the case in the freezer and closed it at home.

or you can buy antifog inserts in a goPro shop which.

hope I could help.:)

Also be helpfull for me, happened for the first time for me today. My plan is to make sure the case is completely dry then close it up inside and not open it again. Gonna leave it in a drying room or something.

anti fog inserts and/or a drop of rainx work wonders, and i'd def. keep using the waterproof housing while skiing, 1 because you won't need the sound anyways and 2, if you fall in powder, powder will acumulate in housing and melt upon entering the lodge or when in your jacket => gopro = ruined
