Gopro Editing Software

Ok, I'm gonna be blunt, I kind of suck at editing and technology isn't one of my strong suits. I have a GoPro HD HERO 2 and 3:Black Edition. I use iMovie, which works but i would like something with more options. I stick to iMovie primarily because it's easy to use, which is good for me. I tried the free trial of final cut, which was alright, but with the GoPro to really get what you want to it's tedious effort to put it through cineform and change everything about it, something which i am too lazy to do. I tried adobe premier pro cs6 as well, but i have yet to completely figure it out and it keeps crashing for me. So, newschoolers, I know some of you are editing wizards and I request your help.

SHORT VERSION FOR YOU LAZY ASSHOLES: need good editing software for gopro

i have done both my friend. i wanna hear what newschoolers has to say, and I did not find a thread like this after some time search barring

I'm pretty sure there was a thread about this only a few weeks ago, and lots of other threads on editing software in general. But CS6 is the general consensus

dude none of those responses have to do with go pro man. cmon I'm not retorted i search barred and googled. I'm looking for the best software that is compatible with GOPRO. i know it's kind of a stupid question but still. i just wanna hear some helpful response

Ok I know this is hard, but I'll explain. So you look at the threads, and you say hmm which software is best and then you see that everyone likes adobe cs6. THEN you google 'will a gorpo work with adobe cs6" and see, yes it will. 2 Steps.

tell me how video from a gopro is so different that it needs special treatment. video is video. any program works with gopro, it's not like it records some obscene and unknown codec.

I saw someone using the cineform software the other day, it either comes with gopro or they give you a link or something, I used to have an old version. Anyways, I was very impressed with how much he was able to recover some of the footage. Like the stuff was fully washed out, and after it was more than usable, it looked good, and it was his first time using it, so I would definitely check that out

im retarded with computers, and i want a software that keeps the quality of the shot without having to manually change every shot. something like final cut pro doesn't do that
