GoPro Case pooped on me

So I have the HD Hero 1, and I don't bash my equipment, but I went to snap the case together, and the black snap that holds the case and the door together broke into about five pieces. Anyone ever had this happen? And where can I buy that snap again without having to buy the whole case again?

Spark Notes: GoPros are usually beefier than that.

Pretty common unfortunately dude. Replacement cases are available online. Just have to be "gentle"...

Learn how to close the case, it won't EVER snap if you apply pressure to the door and not the lever.

Fill out a form on GoPro's support page on their website. If they won't send you a new one for free then you'll probably have to buy one. Be sure to be polite, maybe make a funny joke and odds are good they'll send you a new case.

Same thing happened to me, I sent them an email and they sent me a new black clip for free.
