Is the gopro 960 worth it for just above half the cost of the go pro hero hd im thinking of getting one but dont have 300 bucks to speand on a camera. im not a big filmmaker and to be honest i dont do to much on skis that people really want to see but i thought it might be cool to get one +k for advise

yea i have one and love it. the only reason i see buying the full hd one necessary is for the hd backpack. i can barely tell the difference between 960hd and 1080hd. go for it!

If you really want people to watch your stuff just save up and buy the full-fledged Hero. The options you get with it are way better. You'll wanna upgrade if you get the 960

The 960 sucks. I borrowed my friends 960 for hood last weekend and it was terrible. Just get the 1080

yeah, the 1080gopro at full quality is still shitty haha so I could see the 960 being just unbearable to watch
