Sorry if this is a repost...i looked in the search bar and i could not find anything.

i am kinda short on money but i really want a GoPro so i was thinking i would get the Hero 960 naked for 90$ (friend is sponssed so he gets dicount) or should i wait to get the Hero HD for 130$?

the 960 naked comes with 2 cuved and 2 flat helmet mounts and a elstic helment one too. it also comes with a headlamp kinda thing so you can look at a POV or your face and with the waterproof case and the cordes..

the 1080 naked comes with only 1 flat and 1 cuved helmet mount with the waterproof case and cordes.

so NS help me out.

id get the 960 i bought both and honestly the quality isnt very different considering the price gap. also if you buy the 960 you can have xtra money to buy mounts and such.

well, do u want the bacpac? 3D in the future? a couple useless options? a slightly better cam?

if u were paying full price i would say go for the 960 but sense u only pay 140 for the 1080 i would get that!

I'd recomend the 1080 one too for the ability to capture 720p in 60fps, pretty handy if ya wanna throw a bit of slomo in your edits!

if you're THAT short on money then you don't need a gopro.

but... don't cheap out and get the 960. you will want 60fps. also i have the LCD bacpac and it's so nice to see what you're filming and review shots.

I don't see to much of a difference since we use both but there is a difference. If your short on money buy the 940.

Get the HD for sure. You won't ever regret the extra $ on it.
Also, get a chesty and some sort of pole mount contraption (FWIW - I got a tripod mount, then found a $15 monopod at Target. It's expandable to 62" or so, and the camera is super secure on the end of it) and you'll be good to go with your two included mounts.

DO NOT GET THE 960. the quality is so much worse and not hd.. if ur trying to make cool, good, and at all proffessional looking movies u cant with the 960. spend the money bro, shits worthit

if ur short on money sell some old ski stuff you dont use but for sure get the 1080 its so much better especially for skiing because in 960 the snow looks wack.

well iv come to a conclusion...i think im going to get the 960 cause all i want is a really durable camera just to watch myself....thanks NS
