What specs is this thing supposed to have? I've heard a bunch a crazy stuff about it. Is it worth the $500 or whatever.

There's hardly a market for 4k let alone 8k. GoPro is slowly dying out. Everyone's tired of edits all looking the same.

it's also not helping their cause that phones these days can shoot half decent 1080/60fps videos. that combined with them being waterproof and a lot of attachments to mount them places and them not really costing that much more than a gopro isn't doing anything good for them either.

I still have the Hero 2 and it works fine.

Wish I had snagged on of these guys. The best bang for your buck that GoPro has ever put out.

IDK if a gopro wilil replace my phone anytime soon. Last thing I was to do is lose my phone in the snow/water/mtns. No to mention a gopro is waterproof, with many mounting options, and it shoots better vid than my gs3

yo my iphone 6s video is fuckin incredible, if only you could adjust focus without also making it adjust exposure and it'd be a great camera (video wise at least)

No probably not considering it can't do most things that your phone does

Ya rarely use my GoPro anymore for skiing, just as my friends to record with my 6

gopro needs a waterproof dslr. Unless you are a master with protune and post editing, the video always has this distinct look that makes the footy look like shite

12k at 2000fps, waterproof to 10000 feet, bulletproof, 7 year battery life, and its gonna be the size of a tic tac
