GoPro 11/10 vs Max

I wanna get a gopro for skiing and downhill mtb. Is it worth getting a gopro max if i do not intend to hold a selfie stick while skiing? probably gonna have it mounted on my helmet 95% of the time. any thoughts? never owned a gopro before. thanks.

If u never owned one just buy a hero 8 trust me it's good enough u don't need 5k or 4k cuz nobody ever even watches it in that resolution

Also the ultra wide is wide enough

Plus in case you get bored of making videos it only costed like 200 not 400
