Googles

I want some new googles. I want them to be big and have a large lens so i can see. I would also like like a more clear lens for night and snowy skiing. I like the new tanner hall goggles but what others should i look at. i really want to be able to see in the worst conditions.

then definitely don't get an iridium lens just to be hyphy. get persimmon or hi persimmon or clear or hi yellow or ruby clear or whatever other lighter tints they have. Crowbars and splices are ok, i still use my wisdoms, they're bigger.

googles?

no but seriously, eg2's, crowbars, splices, the most popular goggles on NS are the big ones. I would suggest looking around on b/s/t. It won't be too hard to find any of those three with a light lens.

I feel ya. Also, have you checked those 2012 dragon goggles? I don't know the model, but they're ridiculous. They appear to be bigger than eg2's, but they have no frame. I imagine they would have a pretty unrestrictive field of vision.

Dude, I think Oakley are pretty good goggles, but way more expensive than what they should cost.. hype.I just got for next season Smith I/O, they look pretty sick, got an insane deal on ebay for 75 bucks with shipping! They are all white tho, no crazy things on them.

I would go with the I/O or the Electric EG2!

Hope you get sick goggles!

Peace

I've had dragons and from my experience their build quality is sub-par. Crowbars are great yet their inner lense cracks really easily. I'm using I/O's now and will never go back, they are the perfect goggle IMO.

I'd say go with some Splices or crowbars, yes everyone has them but for a good reason they are great goggles plus they look good. Easily the best goggles ive ever owned and i will be purchasing my like 5th pair this winter. I highly recommend the Pink Iridium lense, its an awesome all around lense. I owned a pair of cbars with pink iridium but like an idiot traded them for some eg-2's.

The EG-2's are great goggles too but have issues with fogging. I wore them this past winter and had lots of issues with them fogging while hiking or just being hot wile skiing now granted any goggle will fog if you have them on your head while hiking so wear them around your neck but i would just be wearing them and if i was hot they would fog. But the crowbars wouldnt fog i would even have them on my head (not over my eyes) while hiking and no fog.

I have not owned splices but i have owned crowbars lots of them and they are 100% worth it. EG-2's are nice but in my eyes cbars are the way to go. Go with a pink irdium lense for a good all around or maybe a hi-permission but the pink irdiums the best all around.

I went out on a big limb last year and bought Anon Hawkeyes. Pretty big lens, good quality, yet to fog up after powder, slush, hiking and freezing. Great visibility and field of view. I highly recommend them to anyone, I rate them higher than my crowbars which even surprises me.

I/O, sensor mirror is my favorite low light lense. Imo the crowbars and splices don't have as good a field of view, because they sit so far off of the face
