if you guys want a search engine, why don't you just google the site. the only thing is for it to be free you just gotta deal w/a couple ads. you can just have it search the forum threads if you setup the bot.txt file correctly. i've done it before so i know it works.

you can download a search engine for forums from google and put it on the site so we can search the forums for certain threads. Is that a good enough explanation?

Google probably doesn't index them because of the scripting that they use... But couldn't you just look at the code for the google one and then make your own using the same basic ideas?

Google doesn't release their code.... obviously.

I made a basic search engine that's fast and works most the time for the forum. It's not perfect, but it's a start.

Google hasn't worked for me on any of my computers for like a month now...
