Google: GooglePal

Definitely not the future, but it'd definitely be super fun to give it a try for a day or two! I personally think I'd get sick of the HUD after a while.

it a cool idea but i wouldn't use it for more than a day or two a season. i prefer it to just be me and mountain. the only stats that i really care about are distance and vertical feet and both i get from the tracking with the epic pass

Again, if it's not too expensive as if you wouldn't want to give it a crack.

Also, I've never understood why they need to count your rotations? Unless you're Alex Schlopy, who comes out of a spin without knowing what it was?

I could just imagine gapers staring at how fast they're going then crashing and getting rekt'd. But I don't want a heads up display, it seems kind of annoying.

cool, another great product skiers really need. new and improved speedometers so gapers can make sure they're hitting breakneck speeds when they slam into lift towers and sue the ski area.

Doesn't really interest me, all this new HUD goggle technology stuff. Comes off as more cheesy marketing bullshit and not really a fan of being this connected to technology all the time, especially when im trying to get away from bullshit and people in the mtns.

It'll sell probably, though. Jerries gotta have something to brag about when they're enjoying 20 dollar apres ski beers.

I was interested for the first few seconds but as soon as those gold diamond shit things appeared, yeah know, useless. It's a good idea to have augmented reality in ski goggles, but there is really NO POINT having the rotation counter, weather forecast (its not gonna change that much after you've checked it in the morning and at lunch) or any of those stupid dangerous games.

Only real use i see we would benefit from is maybe importing your own tracks for a bc line for example, to make sure you don't take a wrong turn to a huge cliff, have a way that if one of your friend crashes behind you it tells you (maybe just a button to alert your friends), and then a pointer to his direction (tbh avy beepers are already there for that). Speed count, if consistant (accuracy doesn't mater as long as it's reliable) would be pretty useful for taking jumps. Wind count too, but there'd have to be a wind counter thing in the park that sends u the data. Display of time and music controls would be the most useful ones tbh. with a toggle option, cos i'm not having a little annoying square in my goggle all the time.

I like the idea of the rotation counter because I get confused a lot with differentiating 1s and 7s.

Damn i thought this was gonna be like downloadable friends. I guess ill just keep talking to my guinea pig shaped rock

But you can see how fast you have to be for reaching the sweetspot of a kicker.

Speed changes with weather, no way you'd want to be looking at a little screen in the corner of your eye coming into a huge jump either. Sooo not the best idea.
