I want to make it into central to north washington over christmas break. I'm from portland area so baker is far away. but is it worth it? dont tell me it rains there. . . I've done some touring on Rainier and behind white pass. both are amazing but I would like to try something new. What about Mt. St. Helens?

Any Suggestions??

washington drivers are pussies and WSDOT is forced to close most of the good touring spots in the winter. highway 20, chinook pass, rainier park, etc.

where are you going? north washington but baker is too far?

haha rain..yeah I phrased it kinda weird but I meant I'll be willing to drive to baker but would it be worth it? are there places that are better that arent so far away? thanks

um well, per the thread i was referring to touring spots, such as gold creek and rampart ridge, but yea, "WOrd" i guess

^^you can do a couple laps in a day if you're skinning and its not too deep, if you're hiking I have no idea, and odds are that you shouldn't be out there.^asshole
