We're supposed to get a footy of snow tonite, looking at doing some slayage tomorrow possibly.. Anyone know of any Southern Erie, or Ellicottville rails that are doable?

there is a long one at the methodist church in springville. its like 70ft, but you could build a kicker anywhere along it. there is also one near one of the schools in ellicotville, i can't remember which one it is.

How's the bust factor on these? High? Low? Might get shot? Just curious a to what I can expect to go down if this happens.

well kids skate at that church all the time. i know it never used to be a big deal, but i haven't been up there in a while. the rail is in back so you won't be seen from the road. you will probably need a car tow in though, its on a hill, but not a very steep one.

i hit a 60 ft sick rail on campus like last week, but we got busted by the cops. they just made us clean it up and leave. we probably had about 100 college kids watching no joke

who wants to hit moog with me very early in the morning next decent snow fall

WOW!

That was a HUGE storm.

Fuck weathermen who can't predict shit... 10 inches my ass. It barely snowed anywhere. A half inch maybe on the highest hills around here, and HV's webcam showed maybe an inch. lol.

Pathetic.

that sucks.

at least we're consistantly getting snow earlier this year, and it staying somewhat cool instead of a cold period then warm. hopefully winter will be good.

Yeah, tell me about it. We're supposed to get 60's tomorrow and tuesday, but then by midweek its going to get cold again and rain/snow mix. I really hope this weather pattern holds.

We are due for a good winter finally.

I just don't want to lake to get too cold too soon.

If you bring your drop in ramp the moog rail would not be to bad, its just that it can be see from the road and there is a white van always parked by the rail the might be in the way. There is also another rail at moog by plant 20 (the one on the hill.) It’s a down rail with grass on the left side and a drop on the right side. I’m not sure what surface lies on the drop side, but my memory tells me its bushes on a slight hill.

I need location information for this Methodist church in Springville. What road is it off?

coming from 240, you take a right onto main street, and its right down the road. first church you come to on the right, its pretty big.

christmas day?? If you wait till some weekend or thursdsay night i'll come for sure, we could probably get a decent size little session going on. I know of a couple amazing rails too in the hamburg area,

Well, the only time people are not at Moog (a business in East Aurora) are on thanksgiving, the 4th of July, and Christmas. The Phillips bros tackled moog rail 1.0 last Christmas (fig,1), and (well, at least me) are planning to take a stab at moog rail 2.0 (fig,2), and quite possible its brother 2.1 ( I don’t feel like drawing another crappy pic.)

Anyway, where are these fancy rails in Hamburg?

Speed was a problem. You had to stand on top of a picnic table, get pole whipped down a plank of wood, and hopefully gain enough speed to get on top of the rail. The setup we had made doing an easy rail pretty difficult. It would have been better in the picnic table was not used at all and two people just ran and pulled you by your poles and then whipped you at the last moment.
