Good Soundbar for my TV

I'm looking for a soundbar for my 42in. TV. The speakers aren't great and I don't want to blow them out. I watch a lot of movies and was wondering if any of you knew of any good ones. My price range is preferably $400, but depending on the soundbar I could go higher. I won't be living in a permanent house anytime soon, so a soundbar is my best bet for now, I'm not going to deal with surround sound until I have my own house and am settled down.

Also, I was looking at Samsung ones, and some of them have vacuum tube tech. Audiophiles, what's the difference between that and a regular soundbar?

threads. My budget is under 200 though. I don't even like the tv loud but I just want some decent sound.

That said I just sold my 42" before I left for nz so I'm on a 13" until I order a new one.

I got built in vhs though so suck it haters.

Don't fall for the Samsung vacuum tube troll. It's a marketing gimmick from those sneaky bastards, they have been putting them in everything lately.

I doubt they are even hooked up and if they did, they would hardly do anything in such a device.

That's honestly the vibe I got from it. Their midrange ones seem good though without that tech so I still might go with Samsung. Found one for $350. Do you know if those high end Sonos ones are worth it, or just overkill for a soundbar? Just curious.
