Okay so its that time for me to start picking out some colleges. Im looking to stay on the east coast and i want a school that has a good mountain within a hour.

UVM, St Mike's, Champlain if you wanna ski northern VT

Green Mountain College or Castleton for central VT

SUNY Plattsburgh or Clarkson for Upstate NY

Hows the ski scene near plattsburgh? I need to transfer this year and if there is a SUNY school with good skiing. Ill cry.

its not too bad...40 minutes from whiteface...not hard to get rides....most of my friends either snowboard or ski. and if you're a picky little bitch you can make the hour and a half trip over to Jay peak

nah BROOOOO. i grew up shredding east coast, and now i shred CO. East coast has no "good skiing" no matter what you think, it's reality bra

UVM- 45 mins from jay, stowe, mad river, and sugarbush

Middlebury- 45 mins from sugarbush and mad river but a BITCH to get into

Dartmouth- somewhat close to mad river and killy

those are good schools, especially middlebury and dartmouth

they are both impossible to get into, based on my school's (prep school) admission rate to both of those colleges middlebury has a lower acceptance rate than dartmouth

UVM is pretty easy to get into, the other 2 are in a different league
