What's a good backpack for skiing that could I ski with, hike with, and overall just use it for outdoor stuff? Any good brands? Also if I were to want to strap my skis to the back of it could I just strap em on or would I need a different kind of bag? I know dakine has some good ones

Dakine has some really nice backpacks that have scraps to hold your skies on. I have a dakine and it is really nice! lots of space and very durable

Osprey>dakine. Dakine makes some great packs. But there is not a single backpack company that has comparible customer service or warrenty as Osprey. Shit is covered for life against DAMAGE and Defects. Will Dakine repair a damaged, 20 year old pack for free?

I have mammut nirvana pro 25, and it has every single feature that backpack can have. And it can be opened from the backside too, so it's super easy to load and unload. I still find some features from it that i havent noticed.

i second this. i would check out the the kode is a great ski specific pack. i've sold dakine, osprey, lowe alpine, arcteryx and north face just to name a few. osprey were by far the best interns of quality, function, customer service, detail, fit etc. dakine make good bags for the price but i would spend the bit extra and get the better pack
