whats a decent generator/lights setup thats not too costly and a nice quiet purring generator

and just another thought after watching eighty-six again does anyone else feel like they pretty much brought a new entity to ski films with the amount of natural sound/ sound effect in their film? I feel like everyone will start incorporating sound much more after seeing that film

Expensive though, so quite.

Weight incorporated a ton of sound too, people are just starting to notice. Sound was a huge thing i worked on this year and it got better and better as the season went on.

I've noticed the increase in natural audio this year universally - there has been a kind of shift towards snowboard/skate type edits in regards to audio use. That being said, I think there has been a significant improvement in the videos being produced with a focus on intricate audio engineering, such as Stept has been doing for a while now, as well as Michael Clarke's work.

I noticed a strong improvement over the course of the past year in your work, Evan - keep pushing it! When done right, audio adds so much more depth to video.

yeah you definitely killed it with the sound in your edits this year. but i feel at least in the past most other ski films haven't really had a lot of natural sound in their movies
