Good pow ski for me?

My riding style is mostly sidecountry cliff hucks, glades, and whatever pow stashes I can find when I am out west. I stay in the park at my small east coast mountains (Virginia). I currently ski on some salomon 2012 which are really playful but I want to get a longer ski for next season. Any pow skis that are very playful and nice in park? Also, where do you guys mount your bindings on powder skis?160 lbs 5'9 Advanced

Are you looking for a true pow ski or are you looking for something that will ski all over well but will still ski well in pow? For a more versatile pow ski look at a bacon, jj or Jeffery style ski but if you are looking for a true pow ski look in the direction of something around 120 underfoot like a bentchentler or a rocker 122

More in the direction of a versatile pow ski. I only get to ski out west for 1 week of the year, and while I am out there I don't only hit pow. I probably spend my time 30-park 50-side trails/hikes 20-groomers. Also like when they are pretty flexible/playful so I can jib off random trees/rocks

Ok so go I would probably go with something between 100-115 range. From what I have heard is Jeffery's are one hell of a ski but I don't have experience with them. Another one to keep in mind is sir francis bacons really fun ski likes to turn and loves to butter around and jib. Kinda chunky for park but since your only in there a little bit shouldn't be a problem at all and they certainly have decent float but still have the ability to make trenches down soft grooms going at a decent speed. I am bit biased because I love my bacons but that's my opinion anyways I hope this helped.

Cool thanks for the recommendation, the Bacon's sound a lot like a more advanced version of my salomon 2012s. I would probably get the 178's. How are your bindings mounted?

I'm about 5'7 145lb and I ride the 178 and I love the extra length for when things get sketchy so maybe even look at the 184 cause cause they do measure really short (mine measure about 175 tip to tip) and they have a decent amount of rocker so they will feel really short. I love mine mounted at the ep choice line cause they do everything well there and still float you just can't push the shovels quite as hard. I bought them on a whim and I was not disappointed for sure the most fun ski I have been on and I have been on a few in that grouping this year.
