Good Place to Ski for MLK Weekend

My parents want to do an out west trip for MLK weekend. They were originally thinking about Colorado, except I figure that it will be really crowded. What are some places that don't get obscenely swamped for the holiday?
+K for anyone with helpful answers.

Yeah, I know it will be packed. I guess I'm just looking for places that can either handle the crowd well, or are kind of off the grid.
How does Sun Valley get?

man, if you find a place keep it to yourself because every resort i have ever worked at (even smaller "out of the way" hills) are swamped this weekend.
but on a more helpful note, here are a couple things to keep in mind:.it's a la nina year = pnw.avoid the big names, even though squaw or whistler are big resorts with a lot of room, everyone seems to know it..checkout montana or idaho, there are some solid mountain ranges in there with lesser known resorts (but keep in mind above advice):http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=ski+resorts&sll=45.79817,-115.72998&sspn=7.122643,19.665527&ie=UTF8&hq=ski+resorts&hnear=&t=p&z=6.expect there to be plenty of traffic (in all manifestations) this weekend and to pay a premium
it is kind of up to what you want out of the weekend... do you want to go home and be able to say i skiied off of showcase at blackcomb or to find lots of good snow without the crowds. because generally my advice above is for the latter. lastly, at least you get to take a sweet skiing trip no matter where it is.

Thanks guys -- especially dutch1. I +K'd everyone.
I passed the info along and am going to be doing some more research on which place to go. (Looking at PNW especially).
NH is out of the running because I'll be going to Mt. Snow in december already.
