i ahve photoshop, people speak of GIMP, its free aparently. but i've heard its not as good as PS, please dont turn this into a gimp vs PS war. try googling it

Gimp actually is very good for a free program, probably one of the best ones out there. It's also open source, meaning you could probably find a couple of variations of it if you looked around.

for the record i got a good deal on it, an extremely good deal if you catch my drift
